"Hey Man!" A guy in all black starts to speak, " Turn down this dead end."
A skinny guy in more colorful clothes stares back at him. "What the hell for?"
"Well, do you know Mike from Chem. Class?"
"Yeah, the fuckin' freak." He stops at the corner.
"Yeah, well he told me some freaky shit. He said he had a friend that came down this street late one night and saw all these red eyes in all the houses. He said I should check it out and see if that friend of his was full of shit or not." He tries to look down the dead end, but sees nothing.
"Oh yeah, and let us be the ones to find some fuckin' monsters, just so you can tell Mike if his buddy is fuckin' full of shit or not. Com'on Steve. Why doesn't Mike just come over here and check it out for himself?" He goes to push on the gas and drive away from the dead end.
"Wait, Stan, I don't know and I don't care. I want to check it out for myself. I love freaky shit and nothing ever happens in this shitty town. Hell, at least not for me. Com'on, man, what else are we gonna do tonite?" Steve giving the eyes that say, "you know you want to' to Stan.
"Dude, you're right, and nothing ever happens in this town." Stan looks at the dead end. "So, this is the street?"
"That's what Mike said, "Road Sole'."
"Now that's a name for a street, Sole Street, okay Steve." Stan pauses for a second, "What are we looking for and is it a certain house we're looking for?"
Steve scratches his peach fuzz chin, "Well, Stan, to tell you the truth…Mike was kinda vague on the subject. He just said that the street almost grabbed his friend and his friend moved away to stay with relatives."
"That's fucked up."
"I've turned onto a street that almost snatched up someone and made the kid move far away." Stan starts to shake his head.
"Please, Mike was probably just tryin' to scare me. He likes to do shit like that."
Stan begins to freak out, but doesn't want to show it. "Steve?"
"What dude? I'm tryin' to look for red eyes."
"Damn, I wanted to know what you think. Should we go to the end and turn around, or just go down a few houses and then turn around and leave." Stan's voice starts to get shaky towards the end.
"What dude? Are you getting scared?" Steve lets out a little chuckle.
"Naw, man, I was just askin'….shit." Stan toughens his voice.
"All right, well anyway….dude, you can't just drive down a street and go a few houses down and then turn around. If you're gonna turn around, you have to pull into one of the first houses on the street."
"Bullshit, where did you hear that from?"
"Man, that's just proper driving etiquette." Steve tells him.
"Shut the fuck up with that proper driving etiquette bullshit, Mr. I Can't Drive Below 55."
Steve starts to laugh a little harder, "Very fuckin' funny, but seriously dude, let's go down to the end of the road and check it all out."
"You want me to turn off my lights?" Stan says in a sarcastic tone.
"Yeah, that would be a great fuckin' idea." Steve smiles big.
"Fine," Stan says in a stiff voice.
They both look around intensely at all the houses, just wondering how it's going to look when they see red eyes. Maybe Mike was full of shit.
Stan clears his throat, "Well, man, we made it to the end of the dead end and to me this street looks like any other street in the great United States of America."
Stan drives the circle of the dead end, and Steve still looking hard at all the houses. "Wait a minute dude. Look at the house behind you."
Stan has to stop the car and turn around. "What is it?"
"There's glowing eyes in the window. Holy fuckin' shit."
"I see them. That's fucking freaky." Stan glued with fear.
"Man, I think I've seen enough. Let's get the hell out of here." Steve says in a very dead tone.
Stan says, "Yeah, I agree." They both turn around and as Stan puts the car in drive, he sees something out of the review mirror. "Oh shit, I see something coming out of the house."
Steve turns to Stan, "Are you serious?" He quickly turns around to look out the back window of the car. "What the Fuck?"
Stan's car stales out, and he turns the key to start it up again, "What the fuck is what?"
"It's the thing with the red eyes, but it's body seems like a black hole. I mean it looks like shit is just being sucked into it. Dude, start the fucking car!" Steve now in a state of shock.
"I am. It won't fuckin' start." Stan starts slamming his hands on the steering wheel.
"Dude, fuck it. Let's run for it. We'll come back for this piece of shit later." Steve jumps out of the car.
Stan looks up to see Steve gone, running down the street. "Fucker." Stan quickly gets out, but as he gets out, he sees the black figure at his back tire. "Fuck me." He goes to run, and he makes it around his door, and is quickly tripped up. "STEVE!" That thing must have a five foot reach. Get up you dummy.
Steve looks back to see that black, red-eyed figure starting to hover over Stan. "STAN!" This is totally fucked. What the hell is that? Steve looks at the other houses thinking he could scream for help, but is only surprised with horror. He sees more red eyes, and more dark figures coming out of all the houses on the dead end. Then he feels his feet taken from underneath him, throwing him to the hard cement. The whole right of his face gets scrapped, but no time for pain. He quickly pushes himself up from the road and as he stands, he is surrounded by four of those black hole, red eyed phantoms. "SHIT!" Is the last thing Steve can say before he feels his flesh rip off his body.
